The Bush Camp 

The bush camp includes the indoor shelter and our outside BBQ and camp fire area for your exclusive group accommodation stay in Somerset. These are very social areas to dine, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. 

 

The indoor shelter is the perfect relaxing space. Inside you will find bench seating and tables are which can be laid out as you wish to accommodate your group or cosy up around the wood burner.  On warmer days the sides of the shelter can be opened up and you can enjoy the atmosphere on the outside benches. 

 

Within the shelter you will have access to the cooking facilities in the bush camp kitchen including;

• 5-ring gas cooker with large oven, basic kitchen utensils, all the pots and pans you will need cutlery and crockery. 

• A toaster, electric kettles, small microwave, 2 l fridges, small deepfreeze.

• BBQ implements provided along with a bag of charcoal and box of firelighters.

• Starter bag of logs for the fires. Extras can be purchased. 

• Cleaning sprays, mop and bucket, broom for sweeping.

• Re-cycling of all waste.

• Catered option also available. Please ask and we will happily provide you details.

The outside space is a very special space to enjoy together. 3 large BBQ grills are provided as well as a raised base for a camp fire. Enjoy star gazing, marshmallow roasting and a good old sing song! We even provide a starter kit of all the things you need to get the bbq and fire underway.

Adjacent to the main shelter is a separate indoor wash up area for washing up your plates and cutlery with ample hot water and drying rack.  You will also find a row of eco toilets which can be used whilst in this area to avoid the need to go to the lodges.

The bush camp area is located approximately 60m from the lodges and accessed via steps through the trees or via a pathway.
