Family Celebrations in Somerset
From birthday parties and weddings to family meet ups, get together and enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Lydeard Farm Bush Camp & Lodges offers.

Minimum group size of 8 within one lodge. Maximum guest numbers within the lodges 56. Self catering with use of fully equipped kitchen. However please ask if you are interested in a caterer and we will provide a list of our favourites.

Remember regardless of your party size you have exclusive use of the bush camp and will be the only guests staying at Lydeard Farm. The larger your group size the more competitive nightly cost per person.
You are welcome to decorate the bush camp shelter and arrange the furniture to suit your needs.
If you are looking for extra space camping is available with access to separate toilets and showers. It’s even possible to have a marquee.
Enjoy a bbq and camp fire and enjoy time together.

Stag or Hen Parties in Somerset
We are the perfect choice for stag and hen parties as we offer competitive pricing for room sharing within our lodges. Our largest lodge accommodating up to 14 guests.

Why not add a morning or afternoon of activities or archery and rifle shooting on the farm with our preferred qualified instructor Steve.

Within half an hours drive you could be cider tasting, paddle boarding or see fishing. We will happily advise providers to help plan your stay.

Sports Groups in Somerset
If you are looking for a base for your sports team whilst on tour in Somerset we are close to the M5 and easily accessible to Taunton, Bridgwater, Minehead and the surrounding areas. Plus lots of practice space on our very own large grass pitch 'Wembley! Why not tell parents to bring along different food items and enjoy a BBQ within the large outdoor space.

Walking/ Mountain Bike Holidays in Somerset

The Quantock Hills are right on our doorstop and there is access to a wide range of footpaths, bridleways and quiet country roads. We provide walking maps and secure bike storage where required.

Horse Riding Holidays in Somerset

Whether you are a group of friends or riding club looking for a getaway we have stables and grazing available at certain times throughout the year.

Your communal space

Dining and socialising takes place in our cosy undercover Bush Camp Shelter complete with seating, wood burner and fully equipped kitchen. There is a projector screen and portable white board available for use, as well as a hand bell to notify meal times

Self catering involves the use of our fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, small microwave, fridge, freezer plus all the cooking equipment, crockery and utensils you will need during your stay.
